Propagation of flora can easily be achieved by anyone with a little spare time, some soil and a plant pot.
Buddleia is on of the easiest plants to take cuttings from and encourages a variety of wildlife, one example is Butterflies – hence the common name of Butterfly Bush.
Here is my easy method for taking cuttings.
- Snip off a stem
- Remove all but top two leaves (to six inches from the bottom of stem)
- Push the cutting into some loose soil
- Water at regular intervals
