It is important to not only feed wildlife in winter but remember to also give them good access to drinking water.
Here’s one way that you can help wildlife in winter by allowing birds to drink when the water could be frozen.
Here’s what you’ll need : An old empty plastic pop bottle, a stick from a tree, small stones, an old carrier bag and some PVC tape.
Tape the stick to the pop bottle and place the stones in the pop bottle.
Tie or tape the carrier bag to the stick.
Make a hole in your pond where it is frozen and place the bottle in.
The wind will blow the bottle making it move so the water will not re-freeze.
All wildlife can get access to water. And another good thing is that it is using recycled materials which are FREE!
